Chavani

Chavani wears multiple hats as one of Doree’s directors, accountant, and acting accounts manager. When she and Prashant first walked into Doree Embroidery in February 2016, Chavani used her many skills to set up the accounting systems to support the operation and management of the team. Her many responsibilities include preparation of month end accounts, quarterly and annual statutory submissions, invoicing, reconciliation, and maintaining a positive job culture and work place. Qualifications including a Bachelor of Commerce (major in accounting, minors in business law and management), Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting (GradDipCA), and a background as a financial analyst for a multinational corporation have been invaluable in steering the successful financial direction of Doree Embroidery.

Working with teams of all sizes has enabled Chavani to value employees as the greatest asset of the business, and assures a supportive family based work culture is maintained. Chavani enjoys the camaraderie and supportive nature of the Doree family and appreciates the supportive nature in which everyone works, with the end goal of providing our customers the best result in the quickest time frame. Outside of work, Chavani is a dedicated mother to two beautiful girls and spends time ferrying them to activities to keep their curious minds entertained.
