Why Doree

Why mining companies choose Doree

Kitting out a mining or resources crew is not the same job as branding a handful of office polos. You are decorating hi-vis and PPE-rated garments, in real quantities, to a standard that has to survive the site — then reordering the moment new starters come through the gate.

Doree is built for exactly that. We are a dedicated B2B embellishment company: we decorate garments, we don't sell you the wrong ones to hit a margin. With nearly 150 embroidery heads and screen printing under one Brisbane roof, we have the capacity to turn around a full site rollout without splitting your order across suppliers. Every logo is digitised once, in-house, and stored — so the badge on a jacket ordered next winter matches the one your crew is wearing today, down to the thread colour.

You can supply your own hi-vis stock or send us garments you already hold, and we advise on what decorates cleanly and what doesn't. That single-site setup keeps the logistics simple and the reorders fast, which is what matters when a crew has to be on the ground on Monday.

Compliance-aware decoration

Decoration methods suited to PPE-compliant and hi-vis garments

Hi-vis and PPE-rated garments carry certification for a reason, and decorating them badly can undo it. The safe approach is choosing the right method for the garment and placing it where it belongs — never over reflective tape, never where it interferes with the garment's protective function.

Embroidery

Stitched logos that outlast the garment

Our workhorse for crew branding. Embroidered logos on the chest, back yoke or sleeve give a sharp, professional finish that shrugs off wash cycles, UV and site wear. Best for company logos, names and role badges at a size stitching handles well.

Heat transfer

Large hi-vis logos, kept light

For big back prints and multi-colour artwork on hi-vis jackets and vests, heat-applied transfers reproduce detail embroidery can't — without heavy stitching that adds weight and stiffness to a safety garment. Ideal where the logo needs to read from a distance across a site.

Placement

Positioned around the safety features

We work decoration around reflective taping and seams so the garment's visibility is never compromised. If a placement can't be done safely on a certified garment, we tell you and offer an alternative rather than quietly working around it.

Durability

Built for industrial laundering

Site gear gets washed hard and often. We select threads, backings and transfer materials to hold colour and adhesion through repeated heavy washing, so branding still looks the part at the end of a roster, not just on day one.

A note on compliance: decoration should be planned alongside your garment's certification, not after it. Send us the garment details up front and we'll recommend the method and placement that keep its hi-vis and PPE rating intact.

Getting started

What we need from you to get started

Give us these and we can quote quickly and get your rollout moving. Our in-house design team prepares an electronic proof of every logo before anything goes into production, so there are no surprises when the garments land.

  • Your logo artwork — vector is ideal; we can work from what you have and redraw it.
  • The garments — supply your own hi-vis stock, or send gear you already hold.
  • Placement & sizes — where each logo goes and how big.
  • Quantities — a size breakdown for the crew or site.
  • Your deadline — including any staged or phased rollout dates.
  • Reorder plan — so we can hold your setup ready for new starters.

Volume & timing

Turnaround for bulk crew rollouts

Capacity is the whole point. Because embroidery, screen printing and heat transfer all run under one roof in Brisbane, a large crew order doesn't get handed between vendors — it moves straight through our floor.

Bulk crew orders

Nearly 150 embroidery heads plus automatic screen printing means we can decorate a full site's worth of garments to schedule, not stretch it over weeks.

Staged rollouts

Rolling out by crew, shift or site? We'll phase production to match your dates so each group is kitted out when it's needed.

Fast reorders

Your logo stays digitised and on file. New starters and replacement gear reorder quickly and consistently through our online customer portal.

Common questions

Mining workwear FAQs

Can embroidery or printing be added to hi-vis and PPE-rated garments without affecting compliance?

Yes — when it's planned correctly. The key is method and placement: we keep decoration clear of reflective taping and any feature the garment is certified for, and choose a technique that doesn't compromise the fabric's protective properties. Share your garment's details up front and we'll recommend an approach that keeps its hi-vis or PPE rating intact. If a placement can't be done safely, we'll say so and suggest an alternative.

What is the minimum order for a crew or site rollout?

Our sweet spot is volume, so mining and resources crews sit comfortably within the range we handle every day. There's no need to over-order to make it worthwhile — but the more we know about your full crew size and reorder pattern, the better we can price the run and hold your setup ready for future intakes. Send through your numbers and we'll quote on the actual quantities.

Can you decorate garments we already own, or do we need to supply new stock?

Both work. As a dedicated B2B embellishment company, Doree decorates the garments — you can supply your own hi-vis and PPE stock, or send gear your crew already has. We'll advise on which garments decorate cleanly before we start, so you're not committing a whole rollout to something that won't hold a logo well.
