The Doree Team
Our highly experienced and talented team.

Chavani
Chavani wears multiple hats as one of Doree’s directors, accountant, and acting accounts manager. When she and Prashant first walked into Doree Embroidery in February 2016, Chavani used her many skills to set up the accounting systems to support the operation and management of the team. Her many responsibilities include preparation of month end accounts, quarterly and annual statutory submissions, invoicing, reconciliation, and maintaining a positive job culture and work place. Qualifications including a Bachelor of Commerce (major in accounting, minors in business law and management), Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting (GradDipCA), and a background as a financial analyst for a multinational corporation have been invaluable in steering the successful financial direction of Doree Embroidery. Working with teams of all sizes has enabled Chavani to value employees as the greatest asset of the business, and assures a supportive family based work culture is maintained. Chavani enjoys the camaraderie and supportive nature of the Doree family and appreciates the supportive nature in which everyone works, with the end goal of providing our customers the best result in the quickest time frame. Outside of work, Chavani is a dedicated mother to two beautiful girls and spends time ferrying them to activities to keep their curious minds entertained.

Prashant Giri
Doree was primarily a 2D embroidery service provider company when Prashant and Chavani took over in February 2016. When first walking into Doree, Prashant’s primary role was understanding the operation of the business and ensuring that systems were being maintained so existing clients were content with the change of management. The company was in a financial stress condition and needed an overhaul to stay afloat and the skills Prashant learned through his long list of engineering qualifications, coupled with his production manager role in underground coal mines allowed him to make critical risky decisions in a calculated manner to ensure that the growth of company could be realised. With a passionate, forward thinking and innovative approach, Prashant has proudly rebuilt Doree into a leading embroidery brand, as well as a trusted brand for several other types of embellishment services. Prashant is kept busy by continuing to develop and expand the business – and also by his awesome wife and beautiful girls who are doted on. The family environment is important to Prashant, and as such he also takes on the human resources role within Doree as it is paramount to be able to ensure staff feel they are well looked after and listened to – and belong to the Doree family.
